Henri Godet , est un célèbre sculpteur français , né le 5 mars 1863 à Paris .
Il expose pour la première fois , au Salon des Artistes Français à partir de 1886 , avec son buste en terre cuite « Vanité » .
Il remporte une médaille de bronze , avec le « Portrait de Mlle » au Salon de 1889 .
Il reçoit une « Médaille de 3ème classe » le 1er juillet 1893 , par le jury de la section de sculpture du Salon des Artistes Français .
Il reçoit la distinction d’Officier d’Académie (arrêté du ministre de l’Instruction publique et des Beaux-Arts du 16 février 1899) .
Henri Godet décède le le 14 octobre 1937 à Vincennes , il est inhumé au cimetière du Père-Lachaise .
