The Flea Festival with Simon Porte Jacquemus

Thursday, September 26 at 19 p.m.

For its annual celebration under the theme “Corpus, its language in the arts”, Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Paris

have the honor of partnering with the talented creator
Simon Porte Jacquemus.

The latter states: “Les Puces are an infinite source of inspiration, a place where history and creativity meet”. On this occasion, Jacquemus will create a unique installation composed of pieces carefully selected from the treasures of Puces merchants.

Simon Porte Jacquemus sees this partnership as an opportunity to celebrate the authenticity and audacity of the market. “For me, rummaging at the Puces is an act of creation in itself. The base of a chair can inspire the design of a shoe. Fashion and architecture are consubstantial,” he explains.

Stéphanie Duplaix, General Manager of Paul Bert Serpette, adds: “Simon is a creator who respects the place, whose keen eye and passion for storytelling and scenography enrich every aspect of his projects. His love for the Puces and his ability to sublimate every detail make him the ideal ambassador for our annual celebration.”

Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Paris will unveil the installation by Simon Porte Jacquemus during their annual party on September 26. This exceptional celebration invites you to immerse yourself in the emblematic world of the market of 1200 antique and second-hand dealers. The evening will feature the exhibition of exceptional merchandise, prestigious decors and objects of desire and affection, offered for sale every weekend, enhanced with street shows, comedians and concerts.

Hunting at the Puces is a guarantee of authenticity for those looking for daring and diversity, like Simon Porte Jacquemus, who finds among the stands treasures such as Memphis works, plaster sculptures, Cubist armchairs , Mourgue mirrors and Roman torsos.

Join us to celebrate this unique moment of creation and discovery, on September 26 at 19 p.m., at the Puces de Saint-Ouen Paris.
