Alessandro Moriconi’s Craft Boxes at Maison & Objet

With his Craft Boxes designed for Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, Alessandro Moriconi delivers his three decors at the Maison & Objet trade fair. He thus plays with the codes of the Puces: in Saint-Ouen, professionals, amateurs and neophytes can buy an imposing piece of furniture, without having to order it, and have it delivered directly to the four corners of the world. Like these boxes that protect furniture, works and objects of art, and allow their safe transport, the Craft Boxes protect Alessandro Moriconi's selection and constitute a showcase for these second-hand pieces. Ready to be delivered to a customer, they allow you to reconstitute an entire decor. They thus take their place at Maison & Objet, an international event for the decoration, design and art of living sector.

Here are videos of the 3 Craft Boxes exhibited at the Maison & Objet Show that you can discover from January 16 to 20, 2025:

“The concept? Imagine Craft Boxes representing three distinct decorative worlds – a living room, a dining room and an office – inspired by the way objects and furniture travel and integrate into our interiors. These boxes will be an invitation to discover how design can tell a story while remaining modular and adaptable to different contexts. They also illustrate my approach: drawing on the past to shape the future, while celebrating the craftsmanship and heritage that make the Puces de Saint-Ouen a must-see destination for vintage lovers and decoration enthusiasts.”
