In 1908, René Lalique designed a label model for the perfume L'Effleurt. Initially made of paper, it was later produced in glass and hot-applied to a Baccarat crystal bottle. It was only a few years later, in 1912, that René Lalique designed his own complete bottle model. The graphics of the label were then integrated directly into the body of the bottle and patinated. The stopper, also patinated, is adorned with two facing cicadas.
