1940 Elegant floor lamp by Charles Dudouyt

Composed of a wide oblong base resting on a round pedestal that curves slightly outward and inward in the center. At the base of the foot is a sphere topped with two carved wooden capitals. At the top of the foot, the capital-shaped decoration is repeated, just above which a half-sphere supports the brass rod that holds the shade. On the side, a hand-carved wooden key allows the height of the shade to be adjusted.

A large cylindrical off-white cotton shade adorns the floor lamp.

The whole thing is made of wood decorated with pretty carved patterns.
