1950 Elegant Italian secretary by Gio Ponti

Composed of a box placed on four high legs of square section in the shape of a spindle, two thin spacers placed on the lower part of the legs make it possible to stabilize the piece of furniture. The exterior of the cabinet is in original black waxed lacquer.
On the front of the cabinet, a flap made of small wooden logs in black lacquer folds down to form the writing table, the interior of the light ash cabinet is embellished with two drawers adorned with gilded brass buttons and two shelves placed above each side of the cabinet.
Under the top, a large scalloped drawer in the lower part allows the storage of documents and brings a delicate note to the whole.
