1950 Large chandelier from Maison Arlus

Composed of a central rod in gilded brass topped with a black cylindrical cover.
The central rod supports six luminous arms of different lengths in gilded brass, distributed around the circumference.
Each stem supports an ovoid-shaped Plexiglas light arm, highlighted at the base by ovoid-shaped black covers.

Arlus is a French lighting manufacturer that has been in business since the early 1950s. Associated with the modern movement through its creations, close to those of the first French designers, Arlus notably popularized the use of lacquered tubular metal and brass in the creation of lighting.
