1950 Rare pair of brass and perforated metal wall lights by Mathieu Matégot
Composed of a fine body in gilded brass decorated with a pointed conical spike, they are adorned with rhodium-plated lampshades in perforated black metal held by two small balls in gilded brass on the bottom of the lampshade.
The brackets consist of a circular back plate also in polished brass.
These wall lights were made in France, around 1950, by the famous designer Mathieu Matgot.
They fit perfectly into all interior styles, whether classic, mid-century or contemporary.
