Additional information:
Eugène Ogé was a French poster artist and illustrator. He began his career as an apprentice with the Parisian poster printer Charles Verneau. He later became a lithographer.
In the mid-1890s, he opened his own studio and began designing posters, first under contract with Verneau and then with the printer Vercasson. Under the influence of Chéret, he created images featuring opulent women. His style evolved, and he began to achieve some success. Ogé then devoted himself entirely to this art.
Poster produced around 1905 to promote Lion Beer.
Lion Beer is a French beer brand created by the Richard Frères breweries. It is a non-alcoholic beer that was marketed until 1956.
