Additional information:
Poster to promote Laubenheimer beers, the brewery of which is located in Nérac (Lot et Garonne).
The brewery was founded by Johannes Laubenheimer in 1828 and closed in 1958.
Ferdinand-Sigismond Bach, known as Ferdinand Bac (1859-1952), was a French writer, designer, caricaturist, decorator, painter, ironworker, landscaper and lithographer.
Ferdinand Bac is the originator of the Laubenheimer beer symbol: the swallow. The original design depicts a woman holding a beer mug, the brewery in the background, and a swallow in a red circle, which would become the brewery's icon.
