Louis period barometer - thermometer XVI in carved and gilded wood decorated with laurel leaves. Its cushioning is decorated with gardening attributes surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves. Interesting historical references for the thermometer. The gilding is original. The mechanism has been revised.
The barometer is signed “Mâce Opticien a Blois”.
