IN STOCKLouis period barometer - thermometer XVI in carved, painted and gilded wood. Signed and dated “Dan Bucpier 1777”. The barometer is adorned with fleur-de-lys and a wind rose in its center. The thermometer shows the temperatures for: silkworms, sickroom, greenhouse, orange tree, ordinary bath, and the temperatures in Paris in 1753, 1740, 1768, 1709, 1776.
