Antonia Astori introduces the consideration of independent volumes having the vocation to be entirely modular in order to optimize restricted living spaces.
She collaborated with the Driade company, which was founded by her brother in particular.
The Kroma desk is produced in several formats, of which the 120cm one is the most sought after.
It is made of wood covered with white melamine and a blue and white striped sheet as well as a metal tube foot resting on a circular base also hammered in metal.
The contrast exists in the material, shapes, colors and volumes.
It was published in the 1980s and belongs to the Italian Memphis movement.
Very slight wear on the sheet visible in the photo.
Also the bottom of the side has small traces.
