This highly unusual French cigar box depicts a silver-plated bronze dog guarding his master's cigars. He is placed in front of the door of his kennel, and at the end of his chain is the key to open it. To unlock it, turn the dog's head. This house is decorated with gilded bronze details. When its roof lifts, it reveals a removable interior design that can store 25 cigars, as well as a side compartment for matches. Its interior is complete and original. In addition to its role as a cigar box, this very elegant and rare humidor could be reused for decorative purposes, craft projects, or to create a collection. Indeed, antique cigar boxes are often collected by enthusiasts for their craftsmanship, design, and nostalgia.
