Tallboy High Dresser By Svend Langkilde - Langkilde Møbler - Rosewood - Ca 1950

Exceptional high chest of 6 drawers by Danish designer Svend Langkilde edited by the Langkilde manufacture.

This so-called "tallboy" piece of furniture is of superior quality.

Work entirely in Rio rosewood.

This Scandinavian chest of drawers dates from the 1950s.

This veneer work is of high quality, in addition to the beveled finishes on the frame of the facade, the rosewood motifs continue on the top and the sides.

Note that the back of the cabinet is also in rosewood! (unvarnished)

The first four drawers are one size and the last two are slightly larger.

It has been fully restored, buffered and has a superb gloss finish.
