Beautiful reproduction XIXth part of the painting by the Flemish painter Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641). The painting originally titled "The Virgin and the Donors" or "The Virgin and Child with Two Kneeling Praying Men", dated to the second quarter of the XVIIth century, is currently kept at the Louvre Museum, Department of Paintings.

Acquired in Flanders in 1685 by the painter Gabriel Blanchard (1630-1704) for Louis XIV, the banker Clerx repaying Blanchard (cf. Brejon de Lavergnée); added to the inventory of the king's collection drawn up by the painter Ch. Le Brun in 1683, no. 482; enlarged – at the bottom and especially at the top – in XVIII1709st century (after 1737 and probably before XNUMX).
