Ceremonial armchair probably Italian, in lacquered and gilded wood; the back features a painted wooden medallion depicting Adam and Eve. He is surrounded by the signs of the zodiac. The armchair is richly carved with characters and animals such as Adam and Eve, Neptune, Putti, bats, eagles, also floral motifs and cornucopias. It ends with two hoof feet in front.
