Large white filigree Murano glass photo frame by Venini

They use long glass rods that they overlap, intertwine, and fuse together. Each rod is wrapped around a glass cylinder and blown into shape. At the end of this operation, the master glassmaker must keep each colored line separate, with the same thickness and curvature around the glass, as quickly as possible before the temperature drops. The result of this technique is almost hypnotic as it produces a perfect net effect.
