CHARLES HALL
Charles Hallé arrives in Creuse at the end of the 19th century, he will frequent Ernest Hareux, Jeannot, Humblot. He practiced the same kind of painting there: naturalistic realism of good quality. But he especially meets Armand Guillaumin and Eugène Alluaud and it is they who will influence the painter to move towards Impressionism and work from nature. Charles Hallé will apply these lessons and henceforth the artist's compositions will be bathed in a superb light that he will know how to capture sumptuously. Landscaper, he became a member of the Salon des Artistes Français from 1894.
