A pupil of Ferdinand Duboc and Alexandre Cabanel, Henry Cauchois specializes in still life compositions. His paintings are kept in museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Angers, Rouen, Perpignan, Louviers, the Ingres Museum in Montauban. The artist participated for the first time in the Paris Salon in 1874 and sent his works to the Salon of French artists in 1881, 1890, 1898, 1904 and 1908. He also participated in the Universal Exhibition in 1900.
