The blanket is first hand-woven, revealing two large vertical stripes of color. It is then dipped in two different dye baths at each end.
The signature is created by affixing a hand-carved wooden “H” fixed to the blanket before it is dipped into the dye baths to prevent the pigments from infusing the cashmere.
