JEAN PUIFORCAT – Solid silver centerpiece ART DECO period circa 1930
Elegant circular solid silver centerpiece mounted on a baluster foot decorated with a central carved wooden element (probably rosewood or palisander), resting on a stepped silver base.
The marriage of polished silver and dark wood creates a refined contrast characteristic of 20th-century modernist aesthetics.
This cup illustrates the work of high-quality manufacturing workshops. It demonstrates Puiforcat's taste for creations combining sobriety of forms and nobility of materials.
