Province of Mino. Tenmon era (1532-1555). Mumei. Attribution Kanenori 2nd gen.
Mounted in shirasaya the blade measures 63,1 cm (2 saku and 1 sun) with a total length of 92 cm, with its black lacquered scabbard 102 cm.
Of the shinogi-zukuri type, the curvature is torii-sori with a deep groove (kesso) on both sides of the shinogi up to the wide kissaki.
Excellent polishing with the presence of Nie and Nioi. ko-mokume, nashi-ji, o-notare.
Saki-haba 2,9cm, Moto-haba 3,1cm.
The nakago is cut with 3 mekugi-ana. Habaki in gilded copper.
Certificate of NBTHK (Nihon BijutsuToken Hozon Kyokai) dated 24th year of the Heisei era (27/01/2013).
