- 3 large folio volumes, marbled calfskin, golden lace, decorated spine, red edges (Contemporary Dutch binding). Third edition of the most famous topographical description of the ancient county of Flanders. Sanderus entrusted the remarkable illustration of this work (maps, town plans, equestrian views and drawings of remarkable monuments) to a large number of draftsmen-surveyors, the most gifted of whom was Vedastus du Plouich. It includes 247 plates outside the text and 15 in the text engraved on copper, including 90 portraits and numerous views, maps and plans of castles and abbeys.
