This exquisite antique Goyard library trunk is a rare and highly sought-after example of late 19th-century luxury travel culture. XIXth and early 20th centuries. Designed for discerning travelers, the library trunk serves as a portable bookcase, allowing a personal library to be transported in style and safely. The trunk is covered in Goyard's iconic herringbone woven canvas, known for its durability and water resistance. Typically made of lightweight yet sturdy wood, Goyard trunks are made of poplar. It features brass corners, protective studs, and a solid brass lock, as well as a comfortable and sturdy black leather top handle. Black leather trim adds character and functionality, designed for ease of transport.
