Vintage Louis Vuitton monogram canvas mail trunk, 110 cm

This magnificent Louis Vuitton trunk dates from around the 1920s. It is adorned with hand-painted monogram canvas, black lozine trim, embossed LV logos, solid brass clasps, a solid brass main lock, and black steel side handles. Each brass rivet is stamped Louis Vuitton, as are the clasps, lock, and side handles. It features two travel tags and a hand-painted turquoise and white motif on the sides, which adds considerable character to this piece. The interior is very clean, having been reupholstered a few years ago, as was the padding under the lid. Everything was professionally restored to its original condition. It still has its original removable tray and original Vuitton label. The interior is clean and odorless. This Vuitton trunk can be used as a high-end decorative object or as a storage unit. It would be perfect as a coffee table or blanket chest, for example.
