Stunning Louis Vuitton hat trunk from the 1920s, it features stenciled painted canvas, dark chocolate colored leather trim, Louis Vuitton stamped solid brass clasps, lock and studs, solid brass corners and stamped solid brass side handles LV. Measurement: 76cm
Custom painted French flag and stripes on its sides. Very warm and rich patina. Please note that its solid brass handles on the sides are a little bent as shown in the pictures.
This Louis Vuitton hat trunk from the 1920s has kept its original interior and has never been reupholstered, it also kept its original padding under its lid. It still bears its original Louis Vuitton tag and serial number. Its padding is a little torn at the top right, as shown in the photos, but is original.
Below, it is made of zinc to protect it from humidity during travel.
It is in a beautiful vintage condition considering its age, around 100 years old…
Perfect for use as a coffee table, nightstand or side table.
