Louis Vuitton trunk in Damiers canvas 90 cm

This Vuitton trunk is one of the rarest available today. It features the world-famous and sought-after Damier canvas. Dating back to 1889, it is a wonderful example of these luxury trunks. With its chocolate-colored leather trim, solid brass studs, corners, clasps, and locks, it still looks as elegant as it did well over 120 years ago and is a testament to the durability of the world's finest trunkmaker. Hand-painted turquoise and white custom stable stripes on its sides add personality to this magnificent Vuitton trunk. Each stud, its main lock, clasps, and brass side handles are all marked Louis Vuitton. As for the interior, it is absolutely stunning. The padding under the lid has been identically re-done with the French flag ribbon (blue, white, and red) representative of Louis Vuitton's 1889 production commemorating the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. The interior is original. It still bears its large Louis Vuitton label with its serial number. Its large removable tray has been redone.
