A decorative large gourd or bulb vase in Delft earthenware with polychrome decoration of flowers and butterflies in the colors ocher, red, green and yellow.
Nice work from XNUMXth century Delft pottery, signed underneath in interlaced PK red. Our vase was mounted as a lamp and electrified to European standards, it receives a very pretty new Coral-colored silk lampshade with a gold interior.
In good state of conservation.

Dimension mounted in lamp: Height 79 cm - Diameter 48 cm.
The Dutch term for this form of exotic vases, resembling the Persian flasks of the seventeenth century is Knobbelvaas, or gnarled vase. This type of vase was produced by several pottery factories in a variety of sizes and painted blue and white or polychrome.

Our vase is in good original condition and signed PK in red color in the bottom.

The vase is in good condition professionally wired for electricity. Silk lampshades are new.
