This very beautiful pair of Petitot sconces, called cinema sconces, were made of striated glass. They have a very special charm. In addition, they are decorated with a central diamond-shaped brass motif and 2 other motifs at the top and bottom.
This type of wall lamp was designed by Petitot in the 1930s and 1950s for the interiors of French cinemas. They diffuse a beautiful light, very pleasant.
The 2 supports are engraved Petitot.
Also, when lit, this pair of Petitot sconces produces reflections above and below, on the wall. They are in perfect condition and can be placed in all beautiful interiors to add a chic vintage touch.
