Pair of 1st Empire style sconces in gilded bronze and brown patina with two sconces. The sheath-shaped shaft represents a winged woman resting on a globe and holding the branches of light with her arms placed along the body. Ornamentation of lion heads, mascarons, griffins and laurel leaves.

A similar model is kept at the Château de Rambouillet (previously presented at the Petit and Grand Trianons at Versailles, see
in the book Marie-France Dupuy-Baylet, The Time The Fire The Light – The Bronzes of the National Furniture 1800 – 1870, Édition Faton, 2010, p. 60.
