IN STOCKVery beautiful and large pair of Louis style sconces XVI decorated with hunting horns with two gilded bronze light arms. The shaft decorated with oak leaves is finished in its lower part by two pompoms. The damping as well as the center are decorated with a Louis knot XVI. Model inspired by the wall lights delivered by Claude Galle in 1809 to the Petit Trianon. The wall lights are signed Vian and have an inventory number on the back. We offer electrification to European or American standards.

Henri Vian, famous bronze-worker and founder, grandfather of Boris Vian, specialized in the production of furniture bronzes, decorative vases, fireplace parts as well as various lighting equipment. Author of the gates of the Villa Arnaga, residence of Edmond Rostand in Cambo-les-Bains, Henri Vian participated in the various Universal Exhibitions of 1878, 1889 and 1900 and was awarded a gold medal in 1889. His stores were located at 5 rue de Thorigny in Paris, now the PICASSO Museum.
