Pair of 1st Empire period sconces in gilded bronze and brown patina with four arms of light. The sheath-shaped shaft represents a winged woman resting on a globe and holding the branches of light with her arms placed along the body. Ornamentation of lion heads, mascarons, griffins and laurel leaves.
Very beautiful matte mercury gilding and burnished with the original agate. The wall lights have not been drilled for electricity in order to respect
their period integrity.
