Pair of Louis period sconces XVI in gilded bronze with two arms of light. The barrel is finished at its damping by a pine cone. It is entwined with ivy leaves and ribbons ending in pompoms. The light arms are decorated with acanthus leaves. Similar ornamentation on a Thomire-Duterne model. Very nice carving and
matte and burnished gilding.
