This pair of very elegant Murano glass sconces are truly unusual. They consist of a curved glass plate, fixed to a brass plate with 2 brass rivets. Due to the reflection of the light on the brass plate, the light is very warm. These sconces are open at the top and bottom, so that the light shines up and down. The glass pieces are a work of art, resembling alabaster or marble designs. They are in the style of Venini, Seguso and Poliarte and are very representative of Italian craftsmanship. Each piece of glass has been individually handcrafted in Murano, it is splendid! This pair of wall sconces produces a warm and pleasant light. Each sconce has 2 bulbs. They are wired for the USA and Europe and operate on 110 or 220 Volts. Please note that they are hardwired. The electric wire you can see in the pictures is just for demonstration to show they are in working order…..
