Pair of Louis XVI lacquered beech Bergères circa 1780
An interesting and decorative pair of Bergères with rounded rectangular backs in cream lacquered molded beech, the armrests in fluted baluster, resting on tapered fluted legs.
Beautiful French work from the Louis XVI period, circa 1780.
Chair dimensions: Backrest height 95 cm - Width 67 cm - Depth 50 cm - Seat height 48 cm.
Our seats are in very good general condition, with some wear to the lacquer which gives this inimitable patina of the wear of time.

Our pair of Shepherdesses has been covered nine with a pretty toile de Jouy with country decor and gallant scenes.

In fine original condition, and there upholstered with a new lovely Toile of Jouy fabric.
