Pair Of Hanging Armchairs - Chromed Metal And Vinyl - Ca 1970

Magnificent and rare pair of armchairs from the 1970s in chromed square tube and its original vinyl covering.
Straight, pure and radical lines.
These lounge chairs are characterized by their exceptional suspended seat.
The armrests wrap around the metal structure and the backrest is supported by screws on the back.
The structure is made of interior metal bars at the back of the backrest and at the bottom of the seat cushion.
The base forming a right angle is joined by two crosspieces on the ground and on the back.
The low seat, 31cm, is wide and comfortable.
These armchairs by their modernism and their pure lines allow easy marriages with designer or even classic furniture.
The base is in very good condition except for a slight mark of oxidation at the bottom of the back of one of the legs of the armchairs.
The white vinyl coating is original. It therefore has signs of wear, white slightly yellowed in places, vinyl slightly cracked at the level of some interior support bars.
The covering can be changed to a fabric, leather, etc. On request, an estimate will be communicated.
