Paul-Elie DUBOIS was part of the official mission sent to Hoggar in 1928. It was the first time that a painter traveled to this mysterious region. He brought back a quantity of paintings, drawings, sketches and decorative documents. “By its illustration as well as its execution, the work ranks among the most remarkable of contemporary production.
