P. Vignal was born in southern Africa, in Mozambique in 1970.
In his work, essentially focused on the creation of portraits and even rather faces, he draws on his childhood to express strong memories.

He paints in black and white on raw cotton most often and pays particular attention to luminosity.
His work is particularly sensual, and this painting describes it perfectly.

This face is full of volume and expresses both a strong intensity and a certain softness.
