This rarely seen travel writing desk is an Edwardian Sheraton-style travel writing desk, the panels of which are decorated with beautiful marquetry patterns.

It consists of two parts: a lower part that includes a large spring-loaded drawer and two compartments each hiding a drawer. The upper part has large brass handles on the sides and has a hood on the top that allows the front part to be lowered, exposing the travel desk. The upper part has 9 small drawers, filing slots and hooks, as well as an inkwell and brush. It is equipped with a clock placed in the central housing. It may not be the original clock, but it fits perfectly and works. It locks with its 4 keys. Being over 100 years old, it has very slight damage in the form of a crack on the flap, a small dent on the edge of the drop-down panel that is not visible in either the open or closed configuration, as well as some wear to the leather. Other than that, this is a lovely, fine piece with wear consistent with age.
