Suite of four armchairs from the Transition Louis XV period - Louis XVI in cabriolet with medallion back in molded and gray lacquered beech. The tapered and fluted feet.

Stamped "P. Bernard".

Coming from a family of cabinetmakers, Pierre Bernard (circa 1730 – 1788) is
received master carpenter on January 24, 1766. He specialized in
seat manufacturing. Its Transition and Louis XV seats of great
of elegance are made with great care.
