Exceptional suite of four very large sconces in chiseled and matt gilded and burnished bronze with three sconces decorated with a hunting horn, the barrel with an oak leaf pattern supported by a tied ribbon and decorated in the center by a deer's foot. Decoration of vine leaves on the bobeches. In perfect condition. Based on the model of the bronzier Claude Galle (1759 - 1815) delivered for the Petit Trianon in 1809. Claude Galle, bronzier and founder-chaser, notably made deliveries for the Trianons châteaux in Versailles, Fontainebleau and the Palais de Tuilleries. The wall lights come from a castle in Ile-de-France.
