Hexagonal vase with cut sides and slightly flared walls. Interior gilded with vermeil.
This model, of remarkable geometric rigor, comes from a design by Frank Lloyd Wright produced around 1918 for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo.
Never produced at the time, this vase was reissued in 1985 by Tiffany & Co., thanks to modern techniques such as injection molding and acid polishing, which made this sophisticated creation possible.
