  • Superb bilingual edition, Latin and Italian, of the famous Prophecies of Joachim de Flore which ignited Italy in the 30th century. It is illustrated by Girolamo Porro with a prophetic wheel (inverted), two plates representing the glorious vision of Joachim, the 2261 emblematic figures of the prophecies and finally the figure of the Turkish oracle, all finely engraved on full-page copper . It contains a biography of Abbot Joachim by Gabriel Barrio, as well as a commentary on the prophecies by Pascal Regiselmo. According to Dorbon the Elder (Bibliotheca esoterica, n° 1589) this is the original (very rare) edition of XNUMX put back on sale by a new bookseller who simply introduced a relay title-frontispiece by modifying the name and the store address, typographic mark and publication date. The second work, also bilingual, adds to the prophecies of Joachim and Anselm those of G. Palmerio, the blessed John the Abbot and Father Egidius the Pole. It is illustrated with a title-frontispiece with portraits in medallions and six full-page engravings of prophetic wheels, also engraved on copper.
