Sèvres porcelain vase
Availability:
SOLDSèvres porcelain vase in ovoid shape with a small shouldered neck. Decorated with stylized planes around the neck, and in the middle part of four medallions arranged in a frieze evoking sportsmen in their respective disciplines: horse riding, Basque pelota, gymnastics, fencing. Night blue, turquoise green, pinkish gray and gold enamel cover. Decorated in Sèvres 1924 under the base.
H: 33 cm
This vase was given to the Olympic winners in each discipline.
