This very decorative wall mirror was designed in France in the 1950s by Audoux Minet. Adrian Audoux and Frida Minet were renowned French designers and part of a group of modernist designers including Louis Sognot, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Chareau. Audoux Minet's innovative use of rope in their designs has become their distinctive signature. This mirror is emblematic of this style of the period and remains entirely authentic. It was made by hand and is in excellent condition. Its shape is reminiscent of a horse's yoke. It can be hung alone on a wall or combined with other mirrors of the same style for a spectacular effect. It is the perfect element to recreate the atmosphere of French design from the 1950s. Its superb patina in chocolate and honey shades highlights a mirror of great clarity.
