Iconic rocking chair RAR or its full name, Rocking Armchair Rod Base, is a rocking chair designed by the couple of American designers Charles and Ray Eames in 1950. They decide to fully assume the seat and put it forward, by molding a single shell that combines the seat, the backrest and the armrests. The base is in steel wire in braces and on the pendulum side, two large arches are carved in maple wood.
