RARE WOOD MONOXYLE SCULPTURE representing Saint John the Evangelist. Height: 86 cm; formerly polychrome. Supported by a recent solid oak base. It was stripped bare to find the natural wood (very dense fruit wood). Note a missing right foot and xylophagous insect bites in the lower part. which were processed.
