Landscape painter.

E. Guillemer brushes in a shimmering and enamelled palette that catches the light of the views of the Normandy countryside near Dieppe. He also works on the banks of the Seine. But it is especially the landscapes of the Forest of Fontainebleau that are his preference. It draws its patterns from clearings, majestic trees or ponds sheltered from the high forests.

He exhibited regularly at the salon from 1864 to 1890.
