Large abstract canvas by the French painter Jeantimir Kchaoudoff.

This canvas is particular in his work because he treats very little in an abstract non-figurative way.

This painting can be considered as a work of the New School of Paris.

Between 1940 and 1970, a wave of abstract painters such as Hans Hartung, Pierre Soulages and Maria Vieira da Silva settled in Paris. The key word of this current is shared by Joseph Sima who describes “the Invisible Seen” as this personal and emotionally motivated aspect of reality.

In acrylic and oils, this large canvas of meters depicts a stormy and poetic reality of Kchaoudoff.

The warm tones chosen by Kchaoudoff treated with softness create a particular dynamism.

Restored canvases.

Circle marks and slight lifting hardly visible.
